Injection moulding is an efficient process for producing precise plastic components like inserts, end caps, and custom parts. Molten plastic is injected into a mould, cooled, and solidified into the final product, offering high precision and minimal waste.
At Plastics Application Ventures in Cape Town, South Africa, we specialise in high-quality plastic inserts and end caps, using Arburg Allrounder injection moulding machines imported from Germany. These machines ensure exceptional precision and reliability, making our process ideal for creating durable, custom plastic components at scale.
The plastic injection moulding process begins with heating plastic pellets until they melt into a liquid. This molten plastic is then injected into a custom-made mould under high pressure, where it takes the shape of the required part, such as plastic inserts or end caps. Once injected, the plastic cools and solidifies, after which the mould is opened and the finished part is ejected.
At our Cape Town facility, we use Arburg Allrounder machines that have been carefully refurbished to maintain high performance and efficiency. These machines are designed for precision and can handle complex moulds with ease, ensuring consistent, high-quality products with minimal material waste
